One patient at a timeAs a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will prepare patients for their treatments by welcoming and comforting patients and showing their to the waiting room. You will prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols and also educating patients on proper use of equipment and exercise routines. You will also sterilize treatment areas and supplies and maintain the location's supply inventory.QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT
  • Have completed professional degree
  • Hold a valid physical therapist assistant license
  • Be proficient in modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills at all levels of interaction
  • Knowledge of medical terminology Computer Skills (Preferably experience with EMR/EHR)
  • Ability to Multi-Task and prioritize
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
