Assists in managing material deliveries to job sites, tracking and reporting company inventory and making job-site deliveries as needed.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintenance MechanicInspect, diagnose and repair company equipment, machines to include:

Tool Maintenance will be scheduled by Procurement Manager
  • Prepare and set up machinery/equipment for job site deliveries.
  • Inspect safety and functionality of all returned job site machinery/equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repair and overall management of company-owned vehicles:
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure the vehicles are in proper working condition. This includes following the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule (Vehicle maintenance will be scheduled by Procurement manger)
  • Diagnose and Repair: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with the vehicles. Use diagnostic equipment and tools to pinpoint problems and make necessary repairs. This may involve repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, and other components.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize breakdowns and ensure the longevity of the fleet. This includes scheduling regular inspections, maintaining maintenance records, and conducting preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, adjustments, and inspections.
  • Emergency Repairs: Respond to breakdowns and accidents promptly and efficiently. Assess the situation, determine the necessary repairs, and perform the required fixes to get the vehicle back on the road as quickly as possible.
  • Parts and Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for vehicle repairs. Order and restock parts as needed to ensure smooth operations. Keep track of expenses and maintain records of parts usage.
  • Manage emission testing, registration/license plate renewals related to company owned vehicles.
  • Work with Safety Department to ensure all machinery, equipment, scaffolds and vehicles comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
Warehouse Associate
  • DELIVERY QUALITY- Pull work-site orders, verify the orders against the specific materials on the truck, and identify and correct any deficiencies or duplications.
  • MATERIAL TRACKING – Once materials have been delivered, process all outgoing pick tickets and transfers in tool watch. Confirm anything that is being charged to a project has been delivered to that project, any tool number listed on the pick ticket is the accurate tool number that was delivered to the project. Complete material return sheets and provide to Accounts payable by the 15th of every month
  • TOOL TRACKING –Transfer tools to the job once they are delivered to site, transfer tools back to the warehouse once they have been returned. When a job pickup is completed, confirm all tools that are assigned to that job have been returned to the warehouse. Locate and pick up tools that haven’t been returned.
  • FILLING JOB SITE ORDERS – Read/review the material orders (pick tickets), prioritize the list, select items (equipment, tools, consumables) from the warehouse, and verify materials list for delivery to the project site.
  • DELIVERIES TO JOB SITE – Sort, organize, load and deliver materials to job sites.
  • OFFICE, WAREHOUSE, YARD MAINTENANCE – Completing Weekly chores (i.e. emptying office trash, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms), keeping the warehouse organized and free of clutter, keeping the yard clean and organized (i.e. sorting returned material, shoveling snow, organizing steel)
  • BACK UP OF WAREHOUSE MANAGER AS NEEDED: Will function as the Warehouse Manager when the manager is off or out of the building for an extended period. This includes all communication with the drivers, scheduling, work assignments, management and approval of absences, planning of work, problem solving, dealing with employee problems, meeting management and participation, and submission of various reports as required by management. Monitoring the warehouse email and preparing accurate pick tickets. Scheduling drivers to ensure deliveries are made accurately and at requested time. Inputting and approving drivers time by 11am on the following Monday.
Qualifications:
  • Regular and predictable attendance between 6am-2:30 M-F. Must be able to work flexible hours between the hours of 6:00am – 4:00pm M-F; Flexible schedule is critical to make all necessary deliveries to work sites, even at night, weekends, or on very short notice.
  • Must be 21+ yrs of age.
  • Must submit and pass pre-employment drug testing to include Marijuana.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a vehicle/ auto mechanic.
  • 2+ yrs experience with machine/equipment diagnostics, maintenance and repair.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of Colorado, with a clean motor vehicle driving record.
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel; Smartphone
  • Strong work ethic; follows through to completion and a collaborative team player.
  • Able to read and interpret procedural and instructional manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; and speak effectively with employees, customers and vendors.
  • Can work independently and determine how to achieve objectives of assignment, decide appropriate work methods, sequence and prioritization of work, and scheduling; knows how to operate within policy guidelines and escalate a situation if necessary.
