- Collaborate with customers, mission partners, and other key stakeholders to translate requirements into robust system designs within a fast-moving timeline.
- Decomposition of end-to-end system requirements into architecture, design, interfaces, and test cases
- Coordination with developers and integration and test teams to ensure component development meet system mission needs.
- Systems Engineering: Proficiency in systems engineering, decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, design behavior with emphasis on:
- Ground pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads
- Experience with tracking IR payload or ground mission data transport, handling, and analysis
- Software/Systems engineering: Experience decomposing the high-level space-ground systems design into ground software/systems design.
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools such as, CAMEO or MagicDraw.
- Programming and Tools Skills: Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and MATLAB, including for software developer coordination, system analysis, prototype algorithm development, or modeling.
- Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment.
- Simulation and Modeling: Background in simulation and modeling analysis with tools like STK, particularly in aerospace applications a plus
