We're looking for a highly experienced and seasoned Operations Manager to lead our team in West Columbia, SC. This is a high-level position responsible for overseeing a key account at a local school district. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong track record of leadership, team building, and building and maintaining strong relationships with a key customer. Supervise and train new employees, including four managers (three account managers and one assistant account manager).
Manage multiple job sites and a challenging customer.
Resolve and respond to employee and customer issues and ensure that all work conforms to established standards.
Work a split shift, being in the field about three days a week to coach and guide managers, and spend two days a week working during the day shift.
Oversee safety requirements and conduct site-specific training for new employees.
Perform site inspections and provide customers with monthly reports on building conditions or work in progress.
Manage a company vehicle and assist with special events, such as athletic and community events, on a small percentage of weekends.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience managing other managers
Experience in the custodial or maintenance industry is necessary.
Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent follow-up, and leadership qualities.
A track record of serving as a key point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction
