Hawai‘i’s leader in the care of women, infants, and children, with 207 beds and 66 bassinets, it is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn, and pediatric specialty hospital.Kapi‘olani is also a tertiary care, medical teaching, and research facility.Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and three personal days!Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal!Money toward continuing education events!

  • Assess patient’s nutritional status, identify nutritional risk, develop plan of care, and evaluate outcomes of this patient population
  • Provides nutrition-related expertise in the interdisciplinary team management of all patients and clients
  • consult with physicians and other health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions
  • work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently

  • A registered Dietitian credential with at least 2 years of prior experience in an acute care pediatric hospital setting and
  • Prior experience teaching gestational diabetes classes

In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
