Work with company stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement across processes, technology, and operational and financial areas, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures to maintain accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data.
Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to senior leadership within the organization by leveraging data reporting platforms such as NetSuite, FloQast, Tableau, and PowerBI.
Collaborate with various company stakeholders, ranging from front-line users to the executive team.
Spot macro and micro trends with statistical significance.
Develop reporting dashboards and metrics for ongoing monitoring of business results using NetSuite, Tableau, and PowerBI data reporting platforms;
Present data outputs using Excel and data visualizations to various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with policies for data accuracy and timeliness.
Work with company stakeholders to gain cross-functional input and alignment for opportunities, ensuring correct inputs, assumptions, and data are captured in finance models and analysis.
Prepare dashboards, spreadsheets, reports, reconciliations, summaries, charts, slides, and other visual aids to deliver findings, propose solutions, and identify trends.
Monitor data integrity and work with the data/reports team to improve database accuracy, quality, timeliness, and integrity.
Analyze large, complex data sets to capture the required data for analytics and reporting and drive insights across multiple business departments.
Identify and quantify problems ranging from day-to-day process improvement to complex strategic initiatives.
Analyze, organize, and draw insights from large data sets.
Synthesize data outputs into executive summaries and visualizations using data reporting and visualization platforms.
Identify opportunities to implement improved financial reporting controls and IT general Controls.
Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management or closely related fieldExperience Required: 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Corporate Accountant, or a closely related field.Skill Set Requirements (Special Requirements):Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in:
Excel;
Policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data;
NetSuite, FloQast, Tableau, PowerBI Data reporting platforms;
Analyzing, organizing, and drawing insights from large data sets;
Spotting macro and micro trends with statistical significance;
Synthesizing data outputs into executive summaries and visualizations;
Navigating large databases to capture the required data for analytics and reporting.
