Currently hiring for a Project Engineer for a growing General Contractor with work locally in the Hartford, CT area!The Project Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction activities and resources.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Review project drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance with design intent.
  • Prepare, track, and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily logs, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and schedules, and report any deviations to the Project Manager.
  • Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Support quality control efforts and help resolve on-site technical issues.
  • Participate in site inspections, progress meetings, and safety walks.

  • 2+years years of Lead Superintendent experience (running own projects)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related preferred (or relevant experience)
  • Project experience in corporate, academic, retail, industrial or related
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Ability to mulitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill
