We write, produce, shoot and edit, working collaboratively across the organization.The weekend Senior Producer will be a key member of the CNN video organization, leading the weekend team that produces news video for all of CNN’s digital platforms. This role will primarily be responsible for overseeing the team’s weekend coverage. They will monitor the news of the day, making assignments and overseeing scripts and edits. The Senior Producer will coordinate closely with newsgathering teams across the globe to bring in the most compelling content, and will work with writers and programmers to ensure the audience’s digital video needs are being met on all relevant stories. They will make smart editorial decisions quickly to best serve the audience what’s new. They should also be prepared to oversee content as well as jump in on script writing, video editing, and publishing.The ideal candidate is a video-first storyteller who loves a fast-paced news environment. They are comfortable making assignments and overseeing the work of others. They should be well versed in creating vertical videos for mobile and social, as well as 16x9 video. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $87,500.00 - $162,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
