- Perform Maintenance & Repairs: Skillfully complete tasks listed on repair orders, always within our dealership's guidelines.
- Diagnose Issues: Use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment to inspect, diagnose, and verify guest concerns for everything automotive, from air conditioning to engines.
- Prepare Estimates: Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs required, maintaining transparency and building trust.
- Address Warranty Concerns: Carry out warranty repairs flawlessly, adhering to manufacturer specifications and ensuring every vehicle is in top condition.
- Communicate Findings: Be the vital link between our clients and service advisors, ensuring timely and accurate vehicle status updates.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or ASE certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
- Experience with using diagnostic tools, service equipment, and repair manuals.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturer-specific repair procedures and guidelines.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and accurately.
- High precision and attention to detail in all repair and maintenance tasks.
