Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive GI care alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff.
  • Conduct initial assessments, follow-ups, and manage inpatient consults and outpatient follow-up visits.
  • Assist with procedures and ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in care coordination, documentation, and patient education.
Qualifications
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in Illinois.
  • Strongly preferred: 1+ year of experience in Gastroenterology or inpatient medicine.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive medical team.
  • EMR proficiency (experience with Epic is a plus).

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis.
