Assist Talent Acquisition Manager with recruiting and talent acquisition initiatives for campus and experienced hire positions including:
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers
Collaborate with hiring managers to determine hiring criteria and effective recruitment strategies
Draft job ads and post requisitions
Source candidates through multiple channels
Screen candidates for technical and cultural fit
Coordinate in-office and virtual interviews
Maintain ongoing communication with candidates through recruiting lifecycle
Lead on-campus recruiting events such as career fairs, meet and greets, firm presentations, etc.
Build and maintain relationships with campus faculty and student organizations.
Collaborate with team members to develop creative strategies to recruit top talent.
Initiate candidate background checks and pre-employment assessments.
Assist Talent Acquisition Manager with coordinating new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
Utilize firm software for applicant tracking, onboarding and offboarding.
Maintain employee personnel files in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Coordinate intern team building events.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, business administration or related field.
2+ years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related field (internships included).
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Ability to travel to college campuses across the state of Michigan. Must have reliable transportation.
