Chamberlain University is looking for a Manager of Accreditation to lead and support accreditation and regulatory efforts across our institution and campuses. This is a dynamic opportunity to work with leadership and cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards in healthcare education.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate directly with university leadership to manage assessment processes requiring approval from accrediting and regulatory bodies. You’ll write, edit, and organize documentation for change requests, coordinate report submissions, and play a key role in campus visits and agency communications.Lead the development and submission of reports for accrediting agencies and regulatory bodies, including HLC, CCNE, and Boards of Nursing.Drive institutional quality and assessment efforts in coordination with Chamberlain’s Accreditation & Professional Regulation department, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with licensing requirements.Participate in program assessment and evaluation activities that support accreditation processes.Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, develop and maintain project plans, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of all required work.Oversee assessment processes, applications, technologies, and system configurations used by university colleagues.Contribute to assessment development projects to ensure alignment with state and professional organization standards.Facilitate orientation for colleagues on assessment processes and provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and support.Review institutional assessment policies and practices to uphold integrity and implement best practices.Partner with APR leadership to manage assessment processes requiring regulatory approval, including writing, editing, organizing submissions, and coordinating timelines and responses.Lead data collection, review, and reporting efforts, maintaining APR data systems such as dashboards, heat maps, and databases.Support APR in addressing compliance and licensing issues, escalating unresolved matters to leadership as needed.Organize and participate in campus and programmatic site visits, including mock visits.Champion efforts to standardize assessment processes, SOPs, and workflows to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and quality improvement.Serve as a regulatory compliance resource by conducting research on accreditation standards and proposed regulations, assessing institutional impact, and recommending actions to align with changes.Apply today and help shape the future of nursing education at Chamberlain University.QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in higher education, healthcare compliance, or accreditation—ideally within nursing education
- Proven track record coordinating site visits, preparing self-studies, and managing institutional licensing and compliance processes
- Deep understanding of nursing accreditation standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, state boards of nursing)
- Demonstrated ability to coach and support faculty and staff in accreditation-related activities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft and edit complex reports and correspondence
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with data reporting tools and learning management systems
- Ability to work effectively across departments and campuses within a collaborative, matrixed organization
