- Develop an annual risk assessment with management input to determine the areas of the credit union that are most critical to audit.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual internal audit plan that remains flexible to changing conditions and priorities. Determine resources needed to effectively execute on the audit plan.
- Lead the execution of internal audits performed internally as well as those audits outsourced to third-parties.
- Present audit observations and recommendations to the Audit Committee and management. Ensure reports including management responses are issued in a timely manner.
- Track and monitor management action plans relative to audit report responses.
- Located in an idyllic small community in beautiful Northern Nevada
- You must be willing and able to travel to locales other than the normal location for the position, including overnight trips as appropriate for your job responsibilities.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have access to a reliable vehicle.
- $105,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business required
- 7+ years of experience in auditing or accounting required
- Experience in banking or credit unions a plus
- Experience with ACL or other data analytics tools a plus
- Proficient in internal audit standards, procedures and techniques
- While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
- You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
