The Corewell Health Internal Medicine Residency Practice is a teaching clinic with resident physicians who practice alongside supervising physicians to improve healthcare through education and research. This partnership allows our physicians to provide quality care to all our patients. The RN Practice Supervisor is a new role to our clinics. We have seen significant growth and advancement with planned additional growth and advancement throughout the residency practices. This position was created to support this continued growth of the practice and its staff to continue to support providing exceptional care to a unique population of patients. The individual will work very closely with the Practice Manager, supervising physician, resident physicians, and clinical & clerical teams. As a RN, you play an integral role in the clinic. Our patients come from all backgrounds, and each have their own unique and often complex care needs. Lastly, we all live by the 4 Cs of Courage, Collaboration, Curiosity, and Compassion.Scope of workThe primary role is that of a Registered Nurse Supervisor who interacts with an adult population of patients who have any chronic health conditions and advanced social detriments of health. The individual in this position will be expected to cross train in all clerical and clinical roles within the clinics which includes PSR, MA, LPN, RN, Referrals, Care Management, & Medical Records. This individual will be expected to manage/maintain adequate staffing ratios and be able to flex and work any role within the clinics to support during times of staffing shortages or high patient volumes. This individual will be an extension of the practice manager and work in close collaboration/alignment with the practice manager.You will be supporting a team of six attending physicians, 1 Nurse Practitioner and fifty-five residents.How we will care for you, while you care for our patients

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing Required.
  • 2 years of relevant supervisory experience Required.
  • MI Registered Nurse license Required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.
