- Select, train, and develop an effective and efficient staff.
- Ensure employees comply with all governmental regulations (FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, SF/SF).
- Supervise warehouse personnel to ensure an efficient utilization of time and labor. This includes the daily processing of timecards and submission for weekly payroll processing.
- Supervise all shipping warehouse personnel hours and fully train staff in all shipping responsibilities.
- Responsible for all disciplinary decisions when required and complete disciplinary/counseling documentation to completion.
- Perform annual and merit reviews.
- Ensure all customers are loaded accurately to BOL, Picklist, and any other necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and proper loading of trailers by verifying all necessary inbound and outbound paperwork..
- Ensure proper paperwork procedures are completed daily, weekly, monthly for forklifts, yard truck, load sheets, delivery sheets, etc.
- Provide quality control for loaded bags including tags, weight, tears, cleanliness, stock rotation, etc.
- Maintain Housekeeping program for warehouse. Keep a clean, neat, and orderly warehouse operation which includes re-bagging damaged products, stock rotation, and product put away properly to eliminate wasted space and damaging more products.
- Maintain communication with sales, production, and Plant Manager to keep overall operation flowing smoothly and efficiently.
- Serve on site safety committee and primary certified forklift trainer for all site personnel.
- Obey all work rules and corporate policies.
- Perform other work-related tasks as requested or required.
- Ascend ladders, stairs, and elevated walkways; lift/push/pull up to 70 lbs.
- Maneuver heavy loads (up to 2,000 lbs.) using forklift/pallet jack; maintain forklift certification.
- Wear required PPE (steel-toed shoes, bump cap, safety glasses, earplugs, goggles, gloves, etc.).
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the company and external contacts.
- Address problems and projects logically and analytically.
- Deliver excellent customer service with urgency in resolving issues and tasks.
- Organize work, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Contribute as a collaborator; self-starter willing to assist beyond assigned duties.
- Be flexible, open to change, respectful of others, and receptive to constructive feedback.
- Use SAP for ingredients and inventory movements; understand plant operating software.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Prior experience with shipping/receiving operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees.

- Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; courses in supervision preferred, with knowledge of warehouse shipping/receiving procedures.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Learn and comply with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations for food and drug manufacturing.
