Location: Staten Island, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PMServe as an LMSW Clinical Coordinator in Staten Island, NY, supporting our clients outreach and housing services for individuals experiencing homelessness. This clinical leadership role is ideal for licensed social workers with experience in community-based care, supervising case managers, and leading service planning. Strong crisis intervention skills, motivational interviewing, and Microsoft Office proficiency are required.Responsibilities as the LMSW Clinical Coordinator:
- Team Supervision: Provide structured supervision and guidance to case managers while promoting accountability and development.
- Clinical Leadership: Promote Housing First, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed practices in all case management activities.
- Service Planning: Oversee the development and implementation of individualized service plans while ensuring timely, accurate documentation of client progress and outcomes.
- Client Engagement: Conduct clinical assessments, case conferences, and support strategies to address client behaviors and enhance engagement.
- Interagency Collaboration: Coordinate care with outreach teams and external service providers to support transitions into housing and long-term stability.
- Crisis Response: Assist staff in managing critical incidents, de-escalating conflict, and ensuring client and staff safety through proactive planning.
- Licensure: NYS Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or behavioral health challenges, with preferred background in supervisory or administrative roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), with required ability to learn new software and familiarity with Access-based databases.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support frontline teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid foundation in Housing First, Harm Reduction, and behavioral/medical systems, with expertise in risk assessments and incident response.
