This is a high-impact, standalone position requiring someone who can manage vendors, budgets, emergency responses, and site readiness — while working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.What You’ll DoDevelop and implement a vendor strategy for facility operations services: security, building management, food and beverage, events, and waste disposalImplement an effective issue ticketing system to respond to capture and track maintenance needs for a 24/7, 365 operationsDesign and create a cost effective, comprehensive security strategy that encompasses access control, surveillance, and physical staffingEnsure safety and compliance: OSHA readiness, EHS adherence, and site securityOversee EV charger O&M vendors to meet or exceed 98% uptimeManage vendors across six locations in Miami and PhoenixOwn and oversee local facilities budgets, P&L, and capex planningLead facility improvement construction, commissioning, and retrofitting projectsRespond to issues across a wide spectrum — from daily maintenance to major system failuresServe as the primary escalation point for facility or security issuesWhat We’re Looking ForBA/BS degree in related fields such as Facilities Management, Business Management, or Engineering10+ years of experience in facilities roles with director-level leadership, including significant account management and outsourcing strategy responsibilitiesUnderstanding of industrial and/or automotive real estate operational needs, ideally including electric vehicle chargingExcellent judgment in the field — you spot hazards, violations, and risks immediatelyDemonstrable PM skills; able to advance projects with undefined scope, influence and align stakeholdersExcellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present in a formal setting, and ability to adapt communication to articulate program goals to a wide audience in a simple, straightforward wayUnderstand technological advances, change management, organizational leadership and compliance requirements, and each supports/drives workplace strategiesConfident navigating changing priorities and high-pressure scenariosComfortable being the go-to responder for both minor and critical facilities issuesFamiliar with OSHA, safety inspections, emergency protocols, and compliance frameworksComfortable traveling up to 25% or as the business needs require - this role will be responsible for overseeing facilities management and security services in cities outside of the hiring location(Preferred) Certification or Industry Designation in Project, Engineering or Facilities ServicesAbout the teamOur team is collaborative, positive, curious, and engaged.
