
Marketing and Promotions Coordinator

- This position is an on-site role that requires the employee to work at our Seattle site.
- Serve as the marketing automation expert on our email database platform (Braze), including staying up to date on features, managing updates, and leveraging capabilities to grow audience engagement through targeted email, push notifications, and special campaigns.
- Develop, schedule, and execute the contest and events e-newsletters, promotional campaigns, and audience engagement strategies across digital channels.
- Create engaging graphics and digital assets for promotional and sales initiatives.
- Write and edit over the air, online, and marketing copy for promotions, sales campaigns, and community initiatives.
- Facilitate station contesting and oversee prize fulfillment in accordance with station policies and FCC rules.
- Enter, maintain, and track all prize and winner information, including audit-ready prize folders.
- Work with the Marketing & Promotions Manager and legal team to draft and update contest rules, ensuring compliance across all platforms.
- Prepare contest articles and graphics and contest-related form fills, and winner sheets
- Assist with the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of station events and remote broadcasts.
- Represent the station with professionalism and enthusiasm at listener and client events.
- Support sales efforts by executing sales elements in e-newsletters, preparing promotional recaps, and assisting with event-based sales opportunities.
- Provide additional administrative sales support as needed, including airchecks, recap prep, and event assistance.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in marketing, audience engagement, or related field.
- Experience with email marketing and audience engagement platform, Braze experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva and photo/video editing tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Flexible schedule with ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Experience with data analysis, preferred.
- Familiarity with Wordpress and digital content management systems, preferred.
- Experience in graphic production and video production, preferred
- Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
- Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment. Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
- Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be comfortable operating station vehicles, including a Subaru Forester and Sprinter van.
