
Director of Marketing

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing preferred
- 3–5 years of related marketing experience within hospitality, resort, or tourism industries
- Previous resort and/or independent hotel experience strongly preferred
- Pre-opening experience a plus
- Mastery of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator or equivalent)
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic algebra (budgets, percentages, commissions, etc.)
- Ability to read, write, and present in one-on-one and group settings with clients, staff, and partners
- Proven expertise in Branding Awareness, Positioning, and Social Media strategy
- Experience developing Media and Public Relations campaigns
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring a team
- Ability to produce and approve marketing content across digital, print, and traditional channels
- Experience collaborating with agencies and managing vendor relationships
- Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources effectively
- Proficiency in developing and implementing CRM strategies, e-commerce initiatives (SEO, PPC, retargeting), and email campaigns
- Experience conducting market research and competitor analysis to shape marketing plans
- Skilled in community relations, partnerships, and sponsorship management
- Knowledge of web analytics and ability to transform data into actionable strategies
- Ability to design and update promotional materials (brochures, sales tools, F&B programming, in-house signage, etc.)
- Strong creative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit with a steady, detail-oriented approach
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, launches, and seasonal pushes with consistency and follow-through
