With a diverse project portfolio and a commitment to innovation, the firm continues to grow its impact across the region.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager with a focus on commercial site design. This role involves leading project teams through planning, design, permitting, and execution of site development projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and client expectations.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated civil engineer looking to lead high-impact projects within a supportive and growth-oriented firm.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and management of commercial site development projects, including site layout, grading, utility coordination, and permittingManage projects from initial planning through construction documents and regulatory approvalsOversee and mentor internal design teams, delegating tasks and ensuring high-quality deliverablesServe as the primary contact for clients, architects, consultants, and municipal agenciesMaintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to meet deadlines and client expectationsPrepare and review commercial site plans, technical reports, and permit applicationsCoordinate and participate in meetings with clients, public officials, and regulatory agenciesIdentify and resolve project risks and challenges proactivelySupport business development efforts through proposal preparation and client engagementPromote collaboration and effective communication within project teams and firm leadershipRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited programProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseMinimum 7 years of experience in design, including commercial projectsProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DFamiliarity with Ajera or other project management software (preferred)Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectivelyMust currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Nashville, TN
