Service TechnicianShottenkirk Automotive Group is family-owned and has been in business for over 60 years. We currently operate 27 Automotive Dealerships in 6 states and employ over 2,500 people. We believe culture makes a difference and we strive to build lasting relationships with our employees, customers, and the community.The responsibilities of a Service Technician include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles. They will have an ASE certificate and great communication skills.Responsibilities:Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systemsCommunicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is neededProvide estimates of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience as an auto technicianKnowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenanceFast, eager learner and team playerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service skillsComputer skills and willingness to learn new problemsAbility to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentClean driving record & valid driver’s licenseShottenkirk Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
