We are looking for a seasoned Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize the operations of a defense manufacturing and distribution facility located in San Antonio. This critical role demands a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail to manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, logistics coordination, regulatory compliance, and personnel management. The ideal candidate will ensure the secure and efficient handling of materials and finished products, working closely with cross-functional teams to support production and procurement activities.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, shipping, and distribution activities.
  • Lead and manage the warehouse team, focusing on hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as ITAR and DFARS.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance safety, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align warehouse activities with project timelines.
  • Manage the handling and storage of sensitive or restricted materials in accordance with legal and contractual guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Possession of a security clearance or VantageClear certification is required.
  • Expertise in warehouse management systems (ERP/WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements in the defense sector, such as ITAR, DFARS, or EAR.
  • Demonstrated success in inventory management and warehouse process optimization.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S., as U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to defense contract stipulations.
