- Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of HVAC construction projects, from initial concept through to final completion.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, VDC (BIM) designers, schedulers, field foremen, clients, and subcontractors.
- Material & Subcontractor Management: Manage material orders, subcontracting, billing, and handle RFIs, change orders, and submittals efficiently.
- Fabrication Oversight: Supervise fabrication shop work, including detail drawing reviews, material take-offs, buyouts, and budget management.
- Risk & Safety Management: Partner with the Safety Department to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Problem Solving & Planning: Proactively plan, address issues, and ensure all contractual obligations are met, while working with senior project managers for mentorship and training.
- Experience: 5+ years of HVAC project management experience, with a solid background in estimating and managing diverse projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Project Diversity: Proven experience managing various project types, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, government, and higher education projects.
- Estimation Skills: Proficient in estimating project costs, reviewing plans and specifications, researching materials, reading blueprints, and preparing proposals.
- Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date with current industry trends and standards.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Organizational Ability: Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed records of project estimates and documentation.
