Through hands-on experience and interaction with some of the greatest technology teams in the industry, you will gain experience and understanding in producing solutions to meet our customers’ needs.As a valued colleague on our team, you may contribute to designing, producing, testing, or implementing software, technology, or processes, as well as contribute to creating and maintaining IT architecture, cloud-based systems, data infrastructure, data analytics platforms, and securing against cyber security threats. Our interns collaborate with senior staff to help implement modern technologies and maintain tools using industry standard best practices. This opportunity will allow you to apply your fundamental knowledge of a process-driven approach in designing solutions for our customers and internal partners.As an intern, you will be assigned to a team from one of the functions below within Fannie Mae’s Chief Information Office:Chief Information Office: The CIO accelerates the enterprise’s technology transformation initiatives, enables comprehensive technology engagement with business partners, and defines the next horizon of technology priorities. CIO delivers a consistent approach for the alignment of technology to business priorities and communication across technology and business stakeholders. CIO coordinates across the entire technology stack to improve services and is responsible for Fannie Mae’s technology assets, cyber security, enterprise data assets, and implementation of digital solutions that enable the business and deliver value for its customers.Chief Data Office: Responsible for creating a business-focused data strategy, driving strategic insights, customer-centric innovation, and measurable value for the business and the industry.
