- Operational Oversight: Lead the janitorial operations for multiple accounts across the district, ensuring consistent service levels, cleanliness standards, and client satisfaction.
- Client Management: Act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing service concerns, conducting regular walkthroughs, and building trusted relationships.
- Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and support a team of Site Managers, Supervisors, and frontline janitorial staff. Foster a positive work environment focused on accountability, safety, and performance.
- Staffing & Training: Ensure accounts are adequately staffed. Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training programs to build capable, service-minded teams.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with contract specifications, company standards, and safety protocols.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor labor and supply costs, track performance to budget, and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety programs, and site-specific safety protocols. Promote a culture of workplace safety.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide accurate operational reporting, payroll approvals, incident documentation, and client updates in a timely manner.
- New Account Support: Assist with the onboarding of new accounts, including site setup, staff deployment, and service launch.
- Other duties as assigned or requested
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in janitorial or facilities services.
- Proven ability to manage large, dispersed teams and multiple client accounts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a hands-on, service-oriented leadership style.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve client and employee concerns effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the district.
