OverviewThis position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and accounting related duties for the general accounting, payroll and sourcing support (accounts payable) departments.
Responsibilities
  • Performs various types of administrative accounting support for the general accounting, payroll and sourcing support departments (i.e. phone calls, emails, typing, filing, processing mail, copying, shredding).
  • Responds to inquiries from vendors, internal customers and support groups.
  • Works closely with procurement professionals, suppliers, and internal customers to resolve situations and provide needed information on a timely basis.
  • Processes vendor invoices, including payment, within the Company’s ERP system; resolves issues with invoices up to and including interfacing with internal business proponents and external suppliers to the Company.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
  • High School degree and 0–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires proficiency in grammar and spelling, perform arithmetic calculations, ability to type and operate general office equipment.
  • Requires good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Should possess organization ability and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office suite of software products preferred (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Oracle needed but not required.
  • Knowledge of Company’s ERP system preferred.
