This is a temporary position through December 2025, with the possibility to be further extended!
- Monday –Friday, standard business hours.
- Remote work from home –training may be in person.
- Our Customer Support Center (Call Center) staff help the community everyday by connecting people with the resources they need through strong customer service and a drive to help.
- The Customer Support Center is an integral part of Human Services that assists clients seeking information about the full range of programs and services offered by the agency as well as supporting clients who seek specific case information related to Medicaid, Food Stamps, and Emergency/Energy Assistance.
- Answers calls and responds to inquiries from customers, both internally and externally.
- Responds to service requests, schedules appointments, provides general information or directs requests to the appropriate area.
- Greets persons entering establishment, determines nature and purpose of visit, and directs or escorts them to specific destinations.
- Responds to requests for general information regarding regularly performed activities or refers to the appropriate area.
- Completes routine office forms and records.
- Records intake information;enters customer data in system;records payments, cancels or updates accounts.
- Maintains records of customer interactions or transactions recording details of inquiries.
- Generates routine reports summarizing work activities.
- Performs routine word processing and scanning.
- Copies, compiles, sorts and files information.
- Responsible for checking data and information when minor changes may be required based on review.
- Individuals in this position must be able to provide complex program and service information directly to clients, as well as manage difficult or emotional situations.
- Our ideal candidate will have strong experience in a fast-paced call center setting and a desire to go above and beyond established standards to provide excellent customer service.
- Prior data entry and customer service experience needed.
- Complete a background check.
- Obtain a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
