● Proficiently demonstrates adherence of oxygen therapy in regard to age specific care consideration●Ensures equipment is readily available, clean and organized in an efficient manner:
● Ensures proper storage and care.
● Educates all staff on appropriate care of respiratory equipment.
● Utilizes hospital approved cleaning materials
● Moves equipment, without harm to facility property or personnel, and in a timely manner
● Performs periodical safety/quality control checks
● Removes damaged equipment from use and returns to appropriate department for repair
● Performs other duties as assigned or requestedQualifications
- Graduate of a School of Practical Nursing
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, medication administration, and patient care practices.
- Proficiency in patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory requirements.
- Adaptability to changes in patient care needs and healthcare practices.
- Current BLS Certification required
- License to practice as an LPN in the State of Alabama.
