- Prepare and label chemical samples with accuracy, maintaining clear and organized documentation • Perform analytical testing using a range of laboratory instruments, including: o ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy) o Ion Chromatography o SEM-EDS (Scanning Electron Microscopy with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy) o Infrared Spectroscopy (IR) • Conduct standard wet chemistry techniques for quantitative and qualitative analysis • Perform elemental analysis and material characterization for identification of unknown deposits • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments as needed • Record data clearly and thoroughly in lab notebooks and digital logs • Compile and organize analytical findings into structured, detailed reports for review by senior technical staff • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), lab safety guidelines, and good laboratory practices (GLP) • Communicate findings and issues effectively with the R&D team and contribute to collaborative problem-solving • Other duties as assigned.
