Residents benefit from access to Logan Health's broader hospital system, in-house therapy, and on-site medical, nutrition, and support services.The RoleAs Director of Nursing, you will:Mentor and support a team that includes RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Resident Care Managers, scheduler, Social Workers, and more.Lead daily clinical operations and oversee nursing care delivery across all units.Guide quality improvement initiatives, survey readiness, and plan of correction development.Partner with interdisciplinary leaders across the system to support patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and a culture of excellence.Collaborate closely with the Nursing Home Administrator, Medical Director, and system-level support teams (Infection Prevention, HR, Education, IT, Plant Ops, and others).What You’ll NeedCurrent RN license in Montana or multistate compact license required.Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field strongly preferred.Minimum of three (3) years’ leadership experience required.Demonstrated expertise in:CMS regulations and survey readinessQAPI initiatives and quality strategy executionCoaching, conflict resolution, and team engagementMontana LTC regulations and patient-centered care best practicesPreferred QualificationsACLS certificationLong-Term Care (LTC) experience, including recent experience as a Director of Nursing or in senior leadership.Experience with MDS completion and advisory councilsFamiliarity with EMRs: PCC, Meditech, CareTrackerUnderstanding of HRIS systems such as Workday and scheduling platforms like APIWork Environment & CultureSupport from a dedicated interdisciplinary team (Therapies, Social Work, HR, Activities, Nutrition, Maintenance, Business Office, and more)Shared on-call rotation (every 5th weekend) with Resident Care ManagersBusiness casual attire or scrubs when in clinical settingsFree on-site parkingA community-oriented facility with staff longevity and teamwork at its coreWhy Logan Health?At Logan Health, we live our mission of providing quality, compassionate care for all.
