Position Overview:BayCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our BayCare Behavioral Health team in Winter Haven, FL. This position is full-time and offers a 5 day or 4 day work week Tu-Fr or M-Th.BayCare Health System is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization located throughout five counties on the central Gulf Coast of Florida with a network comprised of 16 hospitals with services including imaging, lab, behavioral health, home health care and urgent care. Qualifications:Position Overview:The Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric services to individuals with mental health diagnoses, including persons who have co-occurring disorders (MH SA).Responsibilities:
  • Conducts psychiatric evaluations and follow-up management in a variety of treatment settings to the targeted populations.
  • Works under supervision of a psychiatric protocol.
  • Provides clinical consultation to medical services staff and other treatment team members.
  • Travel to other assigned locations is required.
  • Acts as Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts, as designated.
Position Requires:Board certified as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and have at least years’ experience in role of PMHNP post-Master's.
