Job Description:St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Patient Account Representative whose duties include registration, scheduling, documentation, coding, charge entry, answering phone, filing, medical records, daily batches, denials, account analysis, and performing other duties as required or assigned.Requirements:EDUCATION:High school graduate or equivalent required. Business training, computer training, CPT/ICD training and medical terminology preferred.EXPERIENCE:One (1) to Two (2) years of experience in the medical field with E&M coding preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office and physician practice management applications.SKILLS:Speed and accuracy in typing. Good math skills. Excellent oral and written communications, ability to deal with medical center staff and public. Ability to perform a variety of duties.
