SPIROL has over 75 years of precision manufacturing to support the aerospace, capital goods, automotive and industrial markets.We currently have an opening on our talented Information Technology team, and are in need of a Sales Manager.The SPIROL Ohio Sales Manager is responsible leadership and development of the Sales Team based in Stow, Ohio (currently 7 Team Members). The Sales Manager is responsible to develop an annual Sales Plan for their assigned area of responsibility, projects current year and next year sales performance and Business Development performance, for all products sold. The SM ensures that the members of the sales team have objectives and KPIs that are aligned to the Sales Plan, and tracks their performance to it. The Sales Manager helps to ensure total customer satisfaction by driving coordinated efforts between departments and locations as needed.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:1) Builds and manages a well-trained and motivated Sales organization to achieve results and objectives, and creates a highly positive and motivated Team / environment.2) Leads Business Development activities in conjunction with Product Manager. Identifies new markets, customers and applications for SPIROL Products.3) Coordinates with SPIROL Global Sites / people to ensure that the Customer has a cohesive and positive experience.4) Ensures sales projects are maintained within the CRM and appropriate action is identified and taken to close or progress opportunities as the project necessitates. Sales Pipeline management is an essential element of Sales Management. It should be well balanced and an accurate reflection of future production and sales volume.5) Monitors, analyzes and reports on progress in achieving the defined objectives in the Sales Plan. Action is taken as needed to ensure that the Team delivers results.6) Work as a key member of SPIROL's Management team to ensure that the group works well within the entire SPIROL Team collaborating to delivery SPIROL's overall objectives.7) Act as a resource in resolving customer issues by utilizing his / her problem solving skills, knowledge across all of SPIROL, and their strong skills in negotiating and selling.RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:1) 3+ years of proven leadership / customer-facing sales experience with a proven track record in B2B / Industrial Sales (Aerospace, Defense or Automotive background preferred).2) The vision to develop, document and effectively communicate strategic Sales Programs.3) Strong sense of personal drive, execution power and problem-solving skills.4) High degree of commitment, persistence, resilience and leadership.SUPERVISION:Includes direct supervision of assigned Sales Team Members.CORE COMPETENCIES OF THE SUCCESSFUL RSM:1) Strategic Thinking: Thinks strategically by clearly anticipating future trends, challenges and consequences, and plans to achieve a competitive advantage.2) Business Acumen: Leverages business judgment to shape strategy, based on understanding of operational, commercial, financial and organizational requirements and capabilities.
