Applies paints, stains, and other surface treatments to structural surfaces and property. Responsible for floor and ceiling finishes.Responsibilities:
Applies protective and decorative finishes and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment and other property.Patches and prepares surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, torching and/or smoothing prior to applying finishing materials.Maintains existing paint surfaces by matching/tinting appropriate paint products.Maintains equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition. Properly stores, cleans and disposes of all supplies and equipment used according to departmental policies and procedures.Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.
- 1 year of related experience.
