We are seeking an A&D Market Manager to promote our products and professional services to the A&D Community and other vertical markets. We are a premier Teknion independent dealer with decades of experience in the South Texas market with nationwide installations.Job Description
  • It is expected that the A&D Market Manager be the main link between the sales team and the A&D community by building and maintaining key relationships with designers and targeted design firms.
  • Promote our company and product lines to the A&D communities in the San Antonio and South Texas markets. This is accomplished by utilizing in-person presentations; lunch-n-learns; table top presentations; after hours industry events; and other means of being visible to potential clients.
  • Invite and host groups of potential clients and furniture specifiers in our newly renovated showroom showcasing the latest Teknion products and award winning innovations.
  • Be an integral part of the RFQ process by identifying opportunities and working with a support team to professionally respond to bids.
  • Establish and host industry events in our showroom including joint presentations with factory partners; CEU classes; and product symposiums.
  • Responsible to report industry and market intelligence to the VP of Sales and leadership team through regularly scheduled meetings. The A&D Market Manager is part of a team and is expected to share in team business planning, strategizing, forecasting and team goals.
  • Travel may be required within the assigned territory and at times outside the territory to assist or lead in presenting and educating current and potential customers
Requirements
  • Proven history or ability to demonstrate safe, responsible behavior, and a positive performance record (including attendance).
  • Stay connected with team members.
  • Passionate, creative, dedicated, reliable, insightful, and genuine, and overall need to be around people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication ability with strong emphasis on collaboration.
  • Effectively handle conflicts and support our programs and policies.
  • Resides in San Antonio or surrounding area.
  • Previous furniture or related industry experience with a successful track record calling or working within the A&D community.
  • Undergraduate degree and /or 5 years in the furniture industry or related industry experience.
  • Field sales experience is preferred
