Optiver is seeking an experienced Delta-One Trader who can fuse deep insight into equity finance markets with our high-performance options platform. Leveraging your market expertise and counterparty network, you'll broaden our product scope, unlock new liquidity channels, and accelerate the growth of our Delta-One desk across both index and single-stock markets.What you'll doThis is a pivotal moment to join-our desk is scaling quickly and exploring new avenues for growth. In this role, you will:
  • Convert fresh market insights into high-impact, synergistic strategies to maximize team success
  • Identify new market opportunities to diversify the core market-making business
  • Interpret large flows to inform trading strategies
  • Represent Optiver by managing existing and building new relationships with external counterparties
  • Collaborate seamlessly with options and dev teams to influence live pricing and hedging decisions across the firm

Who you are
  • Have 4+ years of experience trading Delta One and/or Equity Finance in the index or single-stock space
  • Possess expertise in trading and position management of delta one exposures and market flows
  • Have a deep understanding of the market landscape and industry dynamics, enabling the identification of innovative growth opportunities
  • An excellent communicator with a proven track record of building and maintaining external relationships
  • Competitive and dedicated to continuous improvement within a team environment
  • Strong mathematical and quantitative background
  • Hold a bachelor's degree (required)
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment authorization for this job opening
