DESCRIPTIONThe Regulatory Intelligence, Safety and Compliance (RISC) team under Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) organization is looking for a Sr. Manager to lead the development of globally consolidated, consistent end-to-end strategy to improve selling partner user experience (SPUX). In this role, you will work across WW safety and compliance, business and tech teams to deliver global strategy and multi-year road for improving selling partner experience (SPX). RISC team's mission is to protect customers from products that are unsafe, illegal, illegally marketed, controversial or otherwise in violation of Amazon's policies while enabling our Selling Partners (SPs) to offer their broadest selection of safe and compliant products.One of the ways to achieve these objectives, is through inventing intuitive and precise tools, feature enhancements and workflows to simplify the selling partner journey. To deliver this mission, we require a globally consistent and cross-compliance program strategy. The successful candidate will 1) drive overall strategy to improve selling partner user experience globally, 2) program manage internal workstreams and seller facing tools, 3) audit the current selling partner journey and deploy improvements, and 4) report out on progress.This includes:
  • identifying and implementing scalable mechanisms that will enable us to measure, track and improve SPX for tech products.
  • Auditing our existing products, while using your knowledge to enhance these checks and launch new enhancements to provide best in class compliance SPX.
  • Pre-launch testing and post launch activities for new experiences for our SPs.
  • Partner with product, tech, business and policy teams to help identify and create controls upfront to improve SPX.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate or semi-automate manual customer-facing and internal business processes and procedures using Amazon's tools and technology, improving tools, features and reducing SP friction, enhancing self-service tools and improving efficiency, engagement and the overall SPX.
The right candidate will lead specific SPUX SP facing program end to end, collaborate with internal teams (tech and business) to align and achieve common goals and metrics reporting.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Seattle, WA, USABASIC QUALIFICATIONSBasic qualifications
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or economics or other related field.
  • 5+ years of program/project management experience in technology focused business. • Knowledge of SQL and experience of creating own measurements.
  • Strong relationships building skills; experience managing stakeholders and partner to drive cross functional programs/projects.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior leaders.
  • Ability to collaborate with and effectively influence remote teams in multiple time zones. Preferred qualifications
  • Background in product compliance and/or quality management.
  • Experience in developing strategy in conjunction with senior leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environment.
  • MBA or related masters from a leading business school.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL.

The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
