Current Needs: August 18, 2025 @ 7a ongoing Clean Malpractice/NPDB Active NC license Harris Regional Hospital Department Pediatrics - NICU Reason for Coverage Primary provider will be retiring/cutting back. Specialty - Neonatology Ongoing needs: yes All-inclusive rates preferred Practice Setting InPatient Level 2 nursery Does Provider need to be Board Certified Yes Are Temp Privileges Available Yes Do you only want to see CV's with an Active License Yes Coverage Type IP rounding and Call only How many Patients will Locum see per day Depends on labor/delivery-average 3 newborns-possible 3 inpatients at this point. Can be up to 6 Is there rounding? Yes Avg patients they round on? all newborns/NICU How many calls do they get while on call? Up to 7 How many hours does it take to Round? 2-4 How many times do they get called back in a 24 hr shift? 2-4 EMR system in clinic and Hospital Paragon Is there support staff? Hospital staff and Market Director, Manager and Practice Manager will be available What type of Surgeries or Procedures do they have to do none What Airport should they fly into Asheville, NC Vendors Please Note "*Physicians are required to provide supporting notes listed on their timesheet entries to verify call-back hours (patient contact hours) and Overtime hours submitted and associated with the acceptable occurrences mentioned above. *Physicians must document in the timesheet the specific reason for the call-back and they should have a description such that the note can be validated if an audit report was generated in an electronic health record. *Telephone calls and medical record reviews should not be considered on-site call back *Physician is not required to be on-site while providing Call Support (this means Market should not be charged for call back hours if a physician decides they want to stay in the hospital, but there is not the need for him/her to be there based on the criteria contained herein) " Without the information above there will be a delay in the invoice being approved. The vendors are currently experiencing a delay with invoices that have timesheets without detail. At the guidance of their legal counsel, they are performing a time study-doing a comparison of the call back/OT hours versus what is documented in the hospital or practice record as well as the correlating hospital department and charges submitted by the provider. Quality control check to make sure all are in alignment. This is time consuming on the back end and want to hardwire the providers process on the front end with the above steps. We need the vendors to help educate the providers on this. The site will also reintroduce this to the provider during orientation at the site. We want to make sure all parties understand the rules of engagement and to prevent any further delays
