We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Pensacola as a Dual Property Director of Sales. You will be responsible for selling for the Pensacola Suites and Extended Stay America Pensacola properties.Do you enjoy meeting new people, driving sales, and witnessing the fruits of your labor? We're looking for a dedicated director of sales to assist the hotel in reaching its sales targets. You'll be in charge of developing our sales strategy and goals, training and assessing our sales force, collaborating with sales managers, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business from various hotel sectors.   • Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast
  • Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenses
  • Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations
  • Create methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets that are in line with the hotel's overall revenue management goals
  • Formulate sales strategies that sustain high levels of occupancy and profitability in collaboration with department managers and their goals
Qualifications:
  • Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality field, is required
  • Displays a proven track record of sales success by lead-generation and closing
  • Previous hospitality industry experience preferred but not required
