- Planning and organizing the work of subordinate and staff members
- Developing and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices, and procedures
- Reviewing programs for conformance with Department standards
- Supports, oversees and coordinates engineering production activities for an operating unit
- Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative
- Initiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues
- Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits

- Developing and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices, and procedures
- Reviewing programs for conformance with Department standards
- Under minimal supervision, performs complex duties utilizing advanced techniques and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and methods
- Assumes lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support staff
- Initiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues. At this level, the individual will have demonstrated understanding of project delivery requirements, creativity, foresight, working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and deliver high quality technical excellence
- Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits
- Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education, including 2 years of leadership
- Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
- Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida or the ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP if registered in another state
- Understanding of project delivery requirements, creativity, foresight, working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and deliver high quality technical excellence
- FDOT Advanced MOT
- CTQP Quality Control Manager (Attend and pass the examination)
- To be achieved by Project NTP
- 10 years of engineering experience
- Two of those years involved in relevant transportation projects
- Master's Degree in Engineering
