- FAP03-109 Concern Reporting, Part Modification, and Product Changes (pertaining to SREAs),
- FAP03-134 Vehicle Stop Ship or Vehicle Stop Build for Quality Reasons, and GQIP Global Quality Improvement Process.
- Owns Functional Warranty quality objectives for the base function (R/1000 and CPU).
- Respond to plant/supplier issues before they leave assembly plants. Evaluate chronic and new warranty issues to push for cut off and resolution ASAP.
- LL6's Co-Chair Variability Reduction Team (VRT) meetings at the Plant.
- Lead Early Claims Warranty binning (ECB) and analysis.
- LEAD Balanced Single Agenda Quality (BSAQ) and Problem Resolution for ECB Warranty communication and coordination with VFG/Plant/Others, author projects, manage implementation, calculate impact, handle warranty glide path forecast.
- Support supplier and PD requests for component changes (SREA), run requested trials
- Support Major/Minor launch starting at LR with focus on Quality. Launch Team Leads
- Support Stop Ship and prevention - identify issues, coordinate subject matter experts, advise severity and next steps/containment, interface w CCRG
- Support TVM. Verify the success of the assembly plant trials
- PPAP completion is Site STA
- TVM D&R owns the design and must sign off on PPAP with STA
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in PD, Plant, Manufacturing, and/or Quality
- Proficient in structured problem solving techniques (8D, 3L5Y, DMAIC, Six Sigma, etc)
- Knowledge of GSAR, BSAQ, RDM and other Quality Tools
- Highly motivated and capable of leading x-functional resolution of quality issues
- Capable of succinctly communicating issues/resolution to all levels of Leadership
- Masters Degree in Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in PD, Plant, Manufacturing, and/or Quality
