BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking Application Developer, Advanced Technology -Junior, for both MD area as well as PA area. These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.As an Application Developer, Advanced Technology -Junior, you will be translating application requirements into web-based solutions using available technology. You will also apply new and emerging technologies to the software development process.Key Responsibilities:Basic Qualifications:
  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.
Specialized Experience:
  • The proposed candidate must have at least one (1) year of experience developing applications using advanced technologies such as Internet protocols or web-based technology. Technologies include HTML, CGI applications, PERL or Javascript, and Java.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • The proposed candidate must have at least two (2) years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: systems analysis, systems programming, application programming, and/or equipment analysis.
