Under the direction of the Radiology Director, and a radiologist, performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Operates CT/X-Ray Equipment to make quality Images/ radiographs of designated body parts. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required, or set forth. Recognizes the need for control/assessment of pain for patients and helps to prevent or reduce patient pain levels when possible.Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required
Education/Licensure: Must have satisfactorily completed AMA approved Radiologic Technologist training program; eligible for ARRT registry. CT registry preferred.
Experience: : No experience required, but preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period; Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
