- Interface with internal customers, program security, and management teams in planning for, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting services and systems.
- Apply troubleshooting expertise to resolve stability issues proactively and reactively.
- Ensure a secure computing environment by managing backups, applying patches, updating antivirus, and routine vulnerability mitigation.
- Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using automation technologies to deploy, secure, and maintain virtual and physical Linux hosts and systems.
- Execute troubleshooting skills to address stability objectives both reactively and proactively.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
- Related Bachelor's and 4 or more years of related experience; or HS Diploma and 8 or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Associate's, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for additional years of experience.
- Related certifications may count towards years of related experience.
- Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- A current TS/SCI Security and CI polygraph is required.
- Ability to work onsite in a secure and professional environment and maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Expertise in the following:
- Ansible Automation and Ansible Automation Platform including playbooks, roles, and collections.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux deployment, configuration management, software management and installations, and security compliance including DISA STIG.
- Administration of Red Hat Satellite: Experience with Bare-Metal and Virtual System Provisioning, Subscription and Package Management.
- Knowledge of DOD Information Assurance practices and System Accreditation processes.
- Solid professional documentation skills, organization skills, and the ability to interact with team members cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
- Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS).
- Experience with container runtime and management technologies.
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Infrastructure including Red Hat Identity Management and Red Hat Satellite.
