
Applications Analysts (Third Party & Legacy Support)

- Maintains operational support for legacy EHR and related applications during Epic implementation.
- Coordinates with third-party vendors to manage and support integrated applications (lab, imaging, pharmacy automation, scheduling, financial systems, etc.).
- Supports data extraction, transformation, and validation for migration into Epic.
- Provides troubleshooting and issue resolution for legacy systems and third-party interfaces.
- Documents workflows, dependencies, and integration points between legacy systems and Epic.
- Participates in Epic testing cycles, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
- Assists with archival strategies, read-only access transitions, and decommissioning of legacy systems.
- Collaborates with Epic analysts, IT leadership, clinicians, and vendors to ensure smooth transitions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare, or a related field required (or) Associate’s degree and 2 years of Healthcare experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical systems, or applications support required.
- Hospitals in Bowling Green, Albany, Caverna (Horse Cave), Franklin, Russellville and Scottsville, as well as Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital, a long-term acute care hospital.
- A combined 529 acute care beds and 110 extended care beds.
- 600+ on-staff physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants in more than 50 specialties.
