- Ensure continual network stability, security and reliability by maintaining the local and wide area network hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment.
- Respond to and resolve end user requests for assistance concerning their phone systems, desktop problems, thin client support, printer’s and access to the network, and the operation of various software applications.
- Assist with network configurations, software support, server upgrades, data migrations, email needs, departmental moves and general network administration duties.
- Perform optimization of personal computer operating system; apply OS patches, troubleshoot communication devices including diagnosing problems and providing resolutions.
- Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance via the phone or helpdesk ticket system.
- Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
- Hands on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues
- Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve
- Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
- In depth knowledge/set up of Windows 10 /11, Microsoft Office 365
- In depth knowledge of Windows Server
- Understanding of Active Directory concepts and services (DNS, printing, WINS, DCHP, DFS, and GPO)
- Familiar with troubleshooting DNS, WINS, DCHP, and TCP/IP
