Job Title: Endpoint Systems EngineerLocation: Scottsdale ArizonaDepartment: Product DevelopmentReports to: CTOAbout the Role:We’re looking for an experienced Endpoint Systems Engineer to take ownership of our distributed fleet of over 5,000 endpoints. These systems are not corporate laptops or servers, but the computing infrastructure that powers our hardware-based inventory management systems deployed globally in dental and veterinary environments. This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on bringing consistency, security, and visibility to a mission-critical system fleet.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and implement an endpoint management platform (e.g., Microsoft Intune) to support a global, remote fleetStandardize and enforce endpoint configurations, OS patching, software deployment, and compliance policiesMaintain observability across the full device lifecycle: provisioning, monitoring, updating, and decommissioningEnsure high availability and integrity of field-deployed devices interacting with controlled substance storage and dispensing systemsCollaborate with InfoSec and Engineering to align endpoint posture with broader security, privacy, and compliance standardsSupport compliance readiness by enabling device-level controls required for DEA, HIPAA, and state regulatory auditsMaintain asset inventory and contribute to secure onboarding/offboarding proceduresDevelop automation and scripting to manage endpoints at scaleWhy This Role MattersThese endpoints are not just business machines—they are embedded in veterinary workflows across the globeA misconfigured or non-compliant device can directly affect access to critical medications or regulatory reportingYour work enables safety, consistency, and automation in regulated environmentsYou’ll help lay the foundation for a future-facing IT and security function that supports scale, resilience, and innovationQualificationsRequired:4+ years managing endpoint fleets in remote or cloud-native environmentsDeep familiarity with MDM and endpoint management platformsHands-on experience with Windows OS configuration management, patching, and compliance policy enforcementStrong scripting or automation skillsUnderstanding of endpoint security best practices and incident response proceduresExperience with Windows device environmentsPreferred:Background in regulated industries (healthcare, life sciences, pharma)Familiarity with controlled substance tracking, HIPAA, DEA, or state compliance requirementsExposure to EDR/XDR tools and security monitoringWhat You’ll Gain:The opportunity to build a critical capability, with strong leadership supportDirect impact on patient care and safety, not just back-office infrastructureOwnership of one of the most visible and risk-sensitive technology layers in the companyEqual Employment Opportunity Statement
