Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical skill, as evidenced by the completion of comprehensive and insightful evaluations, and the development of individualized and effective treatment plans designed to achieve precise, functional goals. Evaluates patients in the areas of upper extremity function, activities of daily living, generalized physical functioning, psychosocial skills and cognition/perception in order to develop and implement treatment plans and goals. Uses excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care. Stays updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of occupational therapy.
