Automation Engineer

• CAD-design and printing.
• Proficiency in hardware and software operation and maintenance of liquid handlers (Hamilton, Lynx, Tecan) and robot arms.
• Hands-on experience in 3D printers (Bambu, Prusa, Formlab, etc.).
• Familiarity with C#, Arduino or python scripting for instruments and data automation.

• We are hiring for the High Throughput Antibody Production team that supports the delivery of recombinant therapeutic proteins and the development of automated solutions for biologics.

• For this posting, we are seeking a talented engineer with a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background. We leverage automation to push the bounds of how fast and how many molecules we can make.

• Expert knowledge in custom design and production of components/labware to support protein production automation. Familiar with CAD design software (Onshape, Solidworks).
• Experience in integration of actuators and sensors for lab instruments using microcontrollers is highly valued.
• Knowledge of general biologics production is preferred
• Keen ability to initiate the automation discussion and collaborate across the broad BGM department
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
