- Location: Cleveland, OH 44111 Northeast Ohio healthcare jobs
- Unit: Medical Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Telemetry, 5 Pavilion)
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts weekly (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Assignment Length: 18 weeks (September 15, 2025 January 19, 2026)
- Start Date: September 15, 2025
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780 - $1910 per week
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required for travel nursing jobs
- Active Ohio RN license or compact state nursing license required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)
- One recent supervisory reference in Med/Surg Telemetry specialty (manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or charge RN)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- BCI/FBI background checks within 48 hours of contract signing
- Ability to pick up badge and complete onsite fingerprinting before start date
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and patient conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and document care in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and post-discharge care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
